Moscow will get 768 new buses before the year is out. The Mosgortrans (Moscow Transit Authority) bus fleet will be entitled to 571 buses with Euro 5 emission standards, with private companies purchasing 197. The renewed bus fleet will be taking new routes.
“These high class buses will be decked out with CCTV, satellite navigation systems, air conditioning, media screens and mobile device charging sockets. All this put together will ensure that the driver and passengers have everything needed for a hassle free bus ride,” said Deputy Moscow Mayor and Head of the City Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development Maxim Liksutov.
